ISET Nepal’s Go Global Volunteers Programme gives Danish youths a special chance to visit Nepal and learn about life, work, and culture here. In collaboration with DCA Nepal, the programme lets young people explore local communities, take part in meaningful projects, and understand Nepal’s social and environmental work. Every year, more than 70 youths from Denmark join this programme, gaining new experiences while contributing positively to local development.
At the same time, Nepalese youths also get the opportunity to visit Denmark, creating a two-way cultural and learning exchange. Recently, 25 volunteers from Silkeborg High School visited the DANIDA-funded Nexus project site in Changunarayan Municipality. They observed project activities, met local community members, and learned how Nepal is building resilience and sustainable development. Experiences like these help strengthen connections between countries and inspire young people to engage in global and local development efforts.
