Transition to E-Cooking

A comprehensive strategy for Nepal’s clean cooking initiative should prioritize women’s involvement, data coordination through the proposed portal, safety enhancement, and a collaborative management approach. The policy-making process must be dynamic enough to integrate an accountability framework for civil society organizations (CSOs) and emphasize sustainability and inclusivity. The government should actively gather insights and incorporate feedback, ensuring that improvements and support for economically and socially disadvantaged households are ongoing. The promotion of e-cooking requires
cultural sensitivity, meaning that there is a need for contextual understanding to be embraced by environmental governance. Investing in research and development and potentially customizing technology is crucial for ensuring that user-friendliness prevails across diverse Nepali communities and that strategy is aligned with sustainability goals.
