ISET-Nepal organised a dissemination workshop (December 20-21, 2012) on the findings of the study “Understanding the cross-scale implications of forest and water management for adaptation-mitigation and food security in the Nepal Himalayas”. The main aim of the workshop was to disseminate overall findings of the study conducted for two years in the Gandaki river basin. Dissemination also aimed to summarise the understanding of climate change and systemic interaction among agriculture, forestry, water management and other components of the livelihood systems and discussed the potential implications of cross-scale nature of such interaction for food production and its security at the local level.
