This project is being undertaken by ISET- Nepal with partnership The Asia Foundation (TAF). Project will reveals interplay of diverse interest, claims and constituencies that shape the politics around development, utilization and management of resource in Koshi Basin. Producing evidences and analysis will provide entry point to identify common ground, by identifying the convergence of interest of diverse groups of state and non-state actors, and in building solidarity and co-production in ensuing those hydrological and hydraulic interventions in the basin. Project will identify different stakeholders and actors within the basin and beyond it, negotiation mechanism and cost benefit sharing. The project study are located on three flange of Koshi basin (Arun III,Sunkoshi & Tamor), mid-stream at Nepal (Udayapur, Sunsari) and downstream (Supaul and Khogria ) in Northern Bihar.
