Poster_Tropical Cyclone and Tourism in Nepal

Increased atmospheric temperature, due to emission ofgreenhouse gases, is changing global climate dynamics. One such impact is the increasing frequency of tropical cyclones. High wind velocity, storm surges and heavy rainfall during cyclones, affect lives and properties of people living in both the coastal regions and its adjoining areas. Sometimes, tropical cyclones in the Bay of Bengal (BoB) have their influence in the high Himalaya regions too. The 2014, the Hudhud Cyclone seriously affected coastal regions of India whose affect also extended to Nepal.
