Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal (ISET-Nepal), Practical Action along with Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), Nepal Agriculture Research Council (NARC), Department of Agriculture (DoA), Nepal Engineering Association (NEA), Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Kathmandu University (KU), Tribhuvan University (TU), Institute of Engineering (IoE), and other organizations decided to hold a national summit on Technological Justice on 30th March 2015 at NAST premises. The summit is expected to consolidate the ideas and actions on technologies promoted by different organizations, develop common understanding on the gaps and identify ways forward. For this, number of thematic workshops have been envisaged, some of which have already been conducted. ISET-Nepal is leading the thematic group on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
