ISET-Nepal invites application for ABISHKAR FELLOWSHIP 2018
What is Abishkar?
The Abishkar fellowship supports undergraduate students in Nepal further their creative learning. It provides financial support in undertaking innovative activities that address Nepal’s social, economic and environmental challenges. The fellowship enables students to inculcate analytical and communication skills that will contribute to their professional growth.

Design and prepare eco-friendly technology and/or models that use local materials/knowledge
Research papers
Preparation of documentary, animations and photo story
Photography/photo exhibition
Conferences, roundtables and workshops
Awareness building

Climate change adaptation and resilience building
Agriculture, forest and food security
Water management
Urbanization and low carbon energy systems
Disaster risk reduction/Disaster management

Who can apply? (All criteria must be fulfilled)
Undergraduate students (Individual/group)
Nepali citizen (each applicant)
Below 25 years of age (each applicant)
Studying in any discipline in Nepali universities/colleges
Required Documents
Concept note (details attached at end)
Curriculum vitae with contact address, email and phone number (for each applicant)
Recommendation letter from relevant departments as well as supervisors/instructors in official letter head (recommendation can be addressed to entire group)
Digital copy of student’s university/college ID card and citizenship certificate (for each applicant)
Concept Note Format
It should be no more than 8 pages (including all illustrations) type written in Times New Roman 12 font (double or single spacing) including the followings:

Project description (5-7 pages)
