Building Disaster Resilient Communities: Diversifying Green Entrepreneur Livelihood at Changunarayan Municipality

Studies have shown that the middle-income population, particularly women, marginalized, and the elderly, are highly vulnerable to disasters triggered by climate and non-climatic factors. The awareness of and impacts of climate change as perceived by women also elicit the challenges they
face affecting their livelihood and constraining their entrepreneurial activities. A need assessment carried out in the urban area of Changunarayan Municipality recommended promoting economic resilience to the start-ups, particularly women, by enabling access to economic opportunities and integrating the market system through a digital medium.
