Strengthening the Nepal Food Security Monitoring System (NeKSAP) for Informed Climate Change Planning and Policies

ISET-Nepal, ISET-International with World Food Programme (WFP) is carrying out a programme to integrate climate change indicators within Nepal Food Security Monitoring System (NeKSAP) This programme uses WFP existing database to develop new indicators on climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation. This study aims to bring change at policy level and support Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operatives (MOAC) with issues on food security. This study gives emphasis to Mid-Western Development Region and Far-Western Development Region where the problem of food security is more as compare to other regions. One of the major parts of this study is the data analysis of World Food Programme and District Food Security Network.
