Immersion Course II : Climate Change Adaptation

ISET-Nepal conducted a three day immersion course (Sept 8-10, 2011) on Climate Change and Development at Pokhara. The participants were from 16 districts of Gandak Transect . In total 22 teachers have participated on that programme. The course aimed to generate awareness among the teachers of local government schools on the effect of climate in different systems . The training course also assesses possible adaptation strategies at local level.  

The objective of the training course was to disseminate the concept of climate change and food security through the teachers attending the course.
