On 27 December 2019, Safer Cities project organized a workshop to disseminate ward level Disaster Risk Management (DRM) plan. Safer Cities project prepared DRM plan of six working wards (Kathmandu metropolitan city ward 10, 12, 31 and Lalitpur Metropolitan City ward 2, 9 and 11). The plan was prepared through the process of ward level vulnerability and capacity assessment (VCA), focus group discussion, key informant interview and household survey. The outcomes (findings) of all the processes were shared, discussed and verified at ward offices and DRM plan of all wards was finalized. Hence, the major findings of DRM plan was shared with ward representatives of all six wards and handed over to all ward during the DRM plan dissemination program.
